Energy Trust of Oregon continues to offer incentives in 2026 that support energy‑efficient upgrades and operational improvements for businesses like yours. Many familiar project types remain eligible this year, with options that can support planned upgrades, maintenance work, or operational improvements. 

We’re excited about the opportunities available: 

• If you are upgrading motors or equipment, rebates are available for variable frequency drives for both irrigation pumps and industrial pumps and fans, including expanded system horsepower eligibility in 2026. 

• Incentives for steam system improvements, including steam trap repair or replacements with incentives of up to $550 per steam trap, as well as pipe insulation for facilities looking to improve efficiency and reduce energy loss. 

• If you are planning facility improvements, roof and wall insulation incentives may be available as part of an upgrade or maintenance project. 

• For facilities looking for lower‑cost ways to save energy, custom operations and maintenance projects can be a good option. We would love to support you in investigating how systems are operated and maintained to identify low cost or no cost energy savings opportunities.  

• Incentives may also be available for smart thermostats, depending on your facility and project scope. I’m happy to help you review eligibility. 

• Lighting incentives  continue in 2026. Lighting upgrades are often one of the simplest ways to improve safety, productivity, and energy performance at your facility. The industrial lighting program that re-launched in September 2025 remains in place, with no changes for 2026.
