To All NUID Patrons:

It appears that we are once again entering the season when power outages become more frequent in our area.

As many district patrons experienced last weekend, outages can range from brief interruptions to several hours in duration. To help prevent issues during these events, the district asks all patrons who operate irrigation storage facilities to ensure that their overflow systems are functioning properly and are ready to handle excess water if pumping systems lose power.

District staff are available to assist with emergency situations. However, power outages are not considered emergencies, and staff will not be available to shut off water deliveries solely due to a loss of power at a pumping facility.
